Monkey Wrench: Recipe & Instructions


Monkey Wrench
It is not known who first created the monkey wrench, but it is a classic, simple and refreshing cocktail.  Although usually served with no garnish, some recipes call for the addition of a maraschino cherry. 

To make a monkey wrench you will need the following equipment:
  • Bar spoon

Recipe:

Ingredients
White rum (60ml / 2oz)
Grapefruit juice (120ml / 4oz)
Angostura bitters​
Garnish
None​

Method:
​How to Make a Monkey Wrench​

  • 1. Add the rum and grapefruit juice to a glass almost filled with ice cubes
  • 2. Stir well
  • 3. Add a dash of Angostura bitters
